CONDITIONING
Judo requires specific types of conditioning drills and exercises designed to correlate to the demands of a judo match. Intensive bursts of energy should be alternated with rest periods. Further, training should occur in cycles, with the type of training done in the pre-season, off-season and out-of-season all differing but aimed at the same goal.
